The Memento Urn for biodegradable water burial allows families to create a unique, meaningful and participatory ceremony by placing personal notes into the urn prior to placing it at sea. Twenty handmade paper note cards are included with each urn.

The urn is crafted by hand on antique molds from non-toxic, recycled food-grade paper and is hand painted using environmentally-friendly milk paints. The urn is designed to float briefly before sinking, and biodegrades naturally over time. The Memento Urn is packaged in a recyclable box for discreet and convenient transportation.

Journey The Journey Earthurn is perfect for ocean or deep water burial and is accepted for Royal Navy Burials at sea. These biodegradable urns are engineered to float momentarily and then gracefully sink. Once on the ocean floor, the urn will break down naturally over time.

Each Journey Earthurn includes a water-soluble plastic bag which dissolves on contact with water, allowing the cremated remains to be dispersed within minutes.

Journey Earthurns are handmade using a centuries old paper making technique. The bark from the mulberry tree is harvested, leaving the tree alive and intact. After the bark is soaked, the resulting pulp is laid out on bamboo screens, often with floral material inlaid, and dried in the sun. Once dry the paper is used to create the beautiful and earth-friendly urns,which will break down in water or soil.

Unity The beautiful heart shape of the Unity Earthurn provides a soft and warm feel to an urn inlaid with flower petals. The urn is designed for burial, where once buried it will degrade naturally over time.

This popular heart shaped urn comes in three sizes:

• Mini Unity - perfect for the symbolic scattering of a portion of the cremated remains; also suitable as an infant or child cremation urn.
  Dimensions: 4.5"x5"x3.5" (60 cubic inches/650ml).
• Standard Unity - will hold the cremated remains of an adult.
  Dimensions: 7"x8"x5" (200 cubic inches/3.0 Litres).
• Large Unity - suitable for combining the cremated remains of two people or for a large adult.

Sand & Gelatine Urns The Passages Sand and Gelatine Urns are produced using sustainable materials to create an attractive and environmentally-friendly alternative for families. Each urn is hand-painted by skilled artisans.

Each urn is shipped in a box with custom protective packaging that provides families with a convenient and discreet option for transportation. The box (and urn) will pass through airport security screenings and can fit in the overhead compartment of most commercial airliners.

When buried in the ground, the urns will biodegrade within three months. Once placed in water, the urn will dissolve within three days.

Purity This oval urn has violet and yellow flower petals in-laid in the paper and is suitable to use for scattering or burial. Once buried the Purity Earthurn will degrade naturally.

Scattering Tubes The Passages Collection of Scattering Tubes is designed and engineered to simplify the scattering process. The tubes are durable, dignified and simple to use. Each features a convenient removable lid and an industry-first, perforated �push in� tab that opens easily prior to scattering. They contain no metal or plastic components and can be recycled or composted after use. Suitable for �in-cabin� airline transportation.
